averypenguin: God Will Make a Way

So this morning, I woke up with an unbelievable sore throat. I mean, I sounded like Jimmy Durante, if he had a cold. It was bad.

And of course, I'm the worship leader at my church (the interim while my main worship leader is on hiatus), two services, no backup available (because I'm the backup! hehe). Somehow, we got through the whole two services, I just couldn't sing for the second one and had to let someone on my team take over main melody.

But one of the songs we picked last week for this week was "It is Well With My Soul." Each member of the band and team this morning seemed to have some sort of storm clouds in their life. Even the pastor's sermon (which we don't get together about) was "When the Storms of Life Come." It was amazing how God has worked out services for us.

Have you ever had a horrible situation like mine this morning? How did God fix it?

Have you ever had services just seem to fit like this? How did God use it?

Sounds like a typical Sunday morning for me. Wake up and life is horrible, then go to church and when worship gets going everything becomes fine and dandy. :-)

that seems to happen every single time i go to church. if something happens during the week that are like storm clouds, my pastor's sermon always seems to talk about what problem im having. thats just another example of God working thru our lives.
